Enterprise-class Hyper-converged Infrastructure with the Lowest TCO

July 14, 2019

Much of the interest in hyper-converged infrastructure comes from the promise of standard x86 servers in scale-out clusters to simplify management and eliminate complexity, resulting in reduced costs. Realization of those promises depends largely on the ability of the software to perform advanced I/O functions, alongside application processing in these servers. Poor performance can be disguised by techniques that quietly force customers to spread workloads across many servers under the excuse of scaling out while latency-sensitive applications don’t see any performance improvement.

5G Virtual Private Networks for Electric Power White Paper:Network Security

whitePaper | November 22, 2022

5G is now entering diverse industries, including the electric power industry. 5G technologies can be adopted in the electric power industry to quicken the industry's digital and intelligent transformation, which will provide strong support for building a clean, secure, efficient, and lowcarbon electric power system. However, before widely applying 5G technologies in the industry, we must address current network security issues. Network security is at the basis of digital transformation and the industry has put forward the security protection principle "secure partitioning, exclusive network use, horizontal isolation,

Under the hood of Wslink’s multi layered virtual machine

whitePaper | September 19, 2022

ESET researchers recently described Wslink, a unique and previously undocumented malicious loader that runs as a server and that features a virtual-machine-based obfuscator. There are no code, functionality or operational similarities that suggest this is likely to be a tool from a known threat actor; the complete analysis of the malware can be found here.

Transport Networks for 5G

whitePaper | August 27, 2023

5G deployments continue their upward trend and will soon be the dominant mobile wireless protocol deployed in North America. The ecosystem is gathering valuable information from these deployments, and one area of focus is the transport network. As part of 5G’s evolution, key architecture components are being separated and distributed to the cloud in ways that make 5G more scalable and flexible. Meanwhile, bandwidth demands continue to increase at the same time applications and services require low latency. New requirements are presented to the transport network at each step of an operator’s 5G journey. The transport infrastructure of today must be flexible to adapt to upcoming requirements as it enables new architectures, tools, and ultimately, 5G networks innovation, monetization, and performance. The fundamental goal of the 5G transport network is to deliver transparent connectivity that allows both present and future functions to work together seamlessly.
