The opening of a new delivery center in Vancouver, Canada, was announced by HCL Technologies (HCL), a well-known international technology corporation. To better serve clients, notably in the HiTech sector, the new center will dramatically increase its footprint in the nation. The brand-new, almost 9,000-square-foot facility will be a cutting-edge hub enabling quicker and more organized delivery of cutting-edge technology services.

With the opening of new delivery centers in New Brunswick, Mississauga, and Edmonton, as well as the welcoming of the first cohort of the HCL Technologies Apprenticeship Program in Vancouver, HCL Technologies has experienced a general uptick in momentum in Canada. With focus areas in software development and testing, digital and cloud services, infrastructure delivery, and engineering, the program, which is a part of the company's early career and training program, enables high school graduates without a formal college degree to pursue a career in a rapidly expanding industry.

HCL Technologies has more than 2,000 employees in Canada and is expanding quickly. A Customer Experience Center, offering full-stack engineering solutions, customer experience and R&D services across various industries, will also be part of the new facility. Its goal is to develop cutting-edge digital technologies, next-generation products and solutions for HCL Technologies' international clients.

"Vancouver has a long-standing culture of innovation in technology and we're excited to expand our presence and help bring new technologies into the region. With this launch, HCL Technologies is further cementing itself as a local employer, and as a leader in emerging technologies building a strong foundation for the future."

"With this advanced facility, we will leverage our industry-leading digital engineering technology services and R&D capabilities to develop and deliver next-generation products and platforms for global customers. This facility will also foster better collaboration across the Vancouver technology and education ecosystem," said Vijay Anand Guntur, President, Engineering and R&D Services, HCL Technologies.

"This city has a reputation for major technological innovation and a highly sought-after talent pool feeding the broader tech industry. We're incredibly proud to see industry leaders like HCL Technologies taking steps to further investment, foster innovation and unlock all the great potential that Vancouver has to offer businesses in the tech industry," said Kennedy Stewart, Mayor, City of Vancouver.
