Large cyberattacks plague the healthcare industry as organizations are challenged with introducing and maintaining threat intelligence as part of their HIT infrastructure security. The Ponemon Institute’s second annual cybersecurity threat intelligence report indicated that while organizations view threat intelligence as essential to their security infrastructure, many organizations struggle to leverage the technology because of overwhelming amounts of data and lack of staff experience and expertise.
