NetApp looks to book a spot in the new digital india

Visiting Bengaluru is a homecoming for George Kurian in more ways than one. The chief executive of California-headquartered storage and data management company NetApp was in the city to inaugurate the company's centre of excellence. As CEO, Bengaluru-born Kurian is leading a transformation initiative at the company, which competes with giants like Dell EMC and smaller ones like Pure Storage and Nutanix. In an interview with ET's Nilesh Christopher and TV Mahalingam, Kurian explains why the company is focussing on India, how demonetisation in India is helping its business, and the overall uncertainty in the US.
