Neosen Energy and Senet Expand LoRa Networks for Education, Medical and Business Institutions

A recent announcement from Senet and Neosen Energy kicks off the year with examples of the long-standing promise of IoT, including the use of new technology to address an existing problem more effectively and IoT being used for the greater good of society. Could this also be an example of 2019 being the year we experience the “next wave” of IoT with tens of thousands and ultimately millions of connected devices being deployed for a single application? Today’s students are part of the first generation to have grown up with smartphones, and they arrive on campus with lots of technology - from laptops and iPads, to fitness trackers, and (to the chagrin of their parents) gaming systems and unlimited streaming services.  It should come as no surprise that students expect to be able to connect their devices to a campus network easily and reliably, and that the school or university they are attending is making an investment in technology and network connectivity to provide a productive and safe learning environment.
