MULTI-CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE LIKELY TO BRING BUSINESSES TO SECURITY BREACHES

A new report revealed that augmenting the number of cloud services increases the attack surface for organizations. And multi cloud users more likely to experience security breaches. The recently published report from Nominet found that 69 percent of multi cloud businesses experienced between 11-30 breaches, compared to 19 percent of a single cloud, and 13 percent of hybrid cloud businesses.Most of the enterprise compute today are rapidly shifting toward the cloud environment, though reports show varying rates of cloud computing adoption based on the industry. Additionally, many security vendors increasingly offer only a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) version of their products that require organizations to rely on cloud computing for security.
