Infrastructure, insight and security: where should you be focusing?

As we just pass 2016’s initial quarter, we thought we’d take a look at where value added resellers, (VARs), managed service providers (MSPs) and solutions providers should be focusing their efforts to make sure they hit their targets and begin Q2 on a high. When we ended 2015, the pundits were quite clear as to where the industry was heading; Gartner summed it up with its Nexus of Forces mobile, social, cloud and information. And as 2016 has progressed these four forces have undoubtedly had an impact on the channel and the organisations it serves. Businesses are now getting to grips with software defined networking (SDN), hybrid cloud has become the defacto standard and mobility is becoming the norm for working life. This means that the security landscape has become, and will continue to be, ever more complex and even greater volumes of data will be produced.
