IBM Bare Metal Servers Support Healthcare Analytics

IBM announced the availability of its bare metal servers on the IBM cloud, powered by Intel Xeon Scalable processors to support healthcare analytics. Healthcare organizations are currently demanding more space for data collected by Internet of Things (IoT) and connected medical devices for big data analytics. “Data is quickly becoming one of the greatest competitive differentiators for enterprises across industries including financial services, manufacturing and healthcare,” IBM stated. IBM’s Cloud Infrastructure Services General Manager John Considine said that the upgrades to the bare metal servers was driven by the need for organizations to fully harness their data for better decision-making and transformative growth. Organizations need to generate better value from their data.
