EXFO and Intel Collaborate to Develop Groundbreaking Solution for Fault Detection Across Cloud and Network Infrastructure

EXFO and Intel have launched a ground-breaking technology that enables 5G network operators to identify and correlate service degradation concerns. Whether failures occur in the network, service tiers, or the cloud-native network architecture, this solution offers automation for cloud-specific assurance.

According to the most recent findings of a study conducted jointly by Heavy Reading and EXFO1, 81 percent of operators polled anticipate that 5G networks would be more challenging to troubleshoot than 4G networks. Similarly, 69% of operators concurred that problem detection and correlation are more challenging in cloud-native networks, with 74% noting a lack of adequate cloud-specific assurance technologies that force them to rely on manual processes.
