AppViewX raises $30M to grow networking infrastructure automation software platform

Seattle-based company AppViewX just raised $30 million to help expand its networking automation technology, GeekWire has learned. Brighton Park Capital, a new private equity firm based in Greenwich, Conn., was the sole investor in the Series A round. “This funding will enable us to accelerate innovation, expand our global footprint, and strengthen our position in the market,” CEO Ryan Windham said in an email. The company’s “low-code” products help manage and automate application delivery, certificate lifecycles and network security in a world where networking infrastructure is being managed by software more than ever. The AppViewX platform gives users a dashboard view of their network operations and can manage security policies across a network. AppViewX partners with major cloud providers including AWS and Azure as well as dozens of other technology firms such as F5 Networks and Citrix to create new products. As part of the low-code mantra, the company aims to make interfaces that are visual and intuitive to use.
