Actifio Tools Help Organizations Deduplicate Migrated Data

Actifio and Tier4 Advisors announced their partnership to bring Actifio’s enterprise data-as-a-service (EDaaS) to Tier4 clients, including healthcare organizations. Actifio’s tools assist organizations leveraging the cloud using virtualization and also helps entities deduplicate migrated data.Teir4 uses data center, telecom, managed services, and IT security solutions to optimize procurement processes. The partnership stems from Tier4’s need to migrate to the cloud in the coming months. Tier4 hopes to leverage Actifio’s cloud to offer its clients the option of cloud storage for a scalable and flexible data center. Tier4 clients leveraging the cloud will be able to cut back costs and consolidate storage options.
