Google makes a $600M investment in Nevada's internet infrastructure

Henderson, NEV (News 4 & Fox 11) — Another tech giant is moving to the Silver State. Google just broke ground on a new data center in Henderson, Nevada and announced a new Google Cloud region. The data center represents a $600 million investment in Nevada's infrastructure. This will give organizations in Nevada faster access to Google Cloud Platform Products which will help businesses expand their marketing, website development and more. When it officially launches, the region will have three availability zones and will support a standard set of GCP products, delivering simple, reliable and secure infrastructure and lightning fast data analytics and ML/AI capabilities. The center is opening in Henderson, Nevada, however Google has just launched a campaign to help expand small businesses across the entire state.
