AppViewX raises $30M to grow networking infrastructure automation software platform

Seattle-based company AppViewX just raised $30 million to help expand its networking automation technology, GeekWire has learned. Brighton Park Capital, a new private equity firm based in Greenwich, Conn., was the sole investor in the Series A round. “This funding will enable us to accelerate innovation, expand our global footprint, and strengthen our position in the market,” CEO Ryan Windham said in an email. The company’s “low-code” products help manage and automate application delivery, certificate lifecycles and network security in a world where networking infrastructure is being managed by software more than ever. The AppViewX platform gives users a dashboard view of their network operations and can manage security policies across a network. AppViewX partners with major cloud providers including AWS and Azure as well as dozens of other technology firms such as F5 Networks and Citrix to create new products.
