Louisiana Health Data Exchange Pilot Uses CommonWell-Carequality Link

Two Louisiana healthcare providers have undertaken a collaborative health data exchange pilot program as part of the CommonWell-Carequality partnership, TV station KLFY-TV 10 reported. Lafayette General Health and Our Lady of Lourdes are piloting a program to exchange patients’ electronic health records using the CommonWell-Carequality connection. The healthcare providers are two of the first organizations in the country to share and retrieve health data via the new CommonWell-Carequality connection, KLFY-TV 10 noted.
