Orange Inks $25M SD-WAN Deal With Global Engineering Firm Aurecon

Orange Business Services scored a five-year, $25 million deal with engineering company Aurecon to overhaul Aurecon’s existing infrastructure with its Flexible SD-WAN. Under the deal, Orange will manage networking and security services across the engineering firm’s 60 sites spread over 20 countries. The service provider claims that once deployed, the services will increase Aurecon’s network capacity by four times as well as reduce its network spending. Aurecon first tapped Orange back in 2014. At that time, the firm partnered with Orange to redesign, consolidate, and manage its network infrastructure with a high-speed WAN to connect its sites. These sites are located across Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East.
