Nokia Nuage and Globe Telecom Bring SD-WAN to the Philippines

Partnering with telecommunications provider Globe Telecom, Nokia’s Nuage Networks is rolling out a nationwide SD-WAN service in the Philippines. This is the first fully operational SD-WAN to serve the approximately 7,000 islands that make up the country. Globe Telecom is based in the Philippines and delivers mobile, fixed broadband, and other managed services to the country. By adding the Nuage SD-WAN to its network it can deliver cloud-based services for enterprises . Nuage’s Virtualized Network Services (VNS) SD-WAN automates branch site connectivity by leveraging any kind of network connection, including mobile. The service also offers policy-driven automation, application-aware routing, security, and a self-service VPN portal for customers.
