5 Serverless Ecosystem Players You Need to Know

Serverless computing architectures remain a nascent and misunderstood form of tapping into cloud resources. In fact, a recent survey from cloud services provider DigitalOcean found that half of developers did not have a strong understanding of serverless. But, of those, a vast majority said they plan to research the topic within the next 12 months. That research is likely to begin with the traditional cloud providers that have so far championed the serverless space. Amazon Web Services (AWS) remains the dominate platform provider with its Lambda service, though Google Cloud Functions and Microsoft Azure Functions are beginning to gain traction.
