Hightouch Launches Personalization API to Enhance Customer Experience

Hightouch | January 30, 2023

Hightouch, the industry leader in Data Activation, has recently released Personalization API, a low-latency API aimed at personalizing any customer experience. The Personalization API enables any system, including internal and external SaaS applications, to retrieve cloud warehouse data with a response time of 30 milliseconds or less. The feature integrates natively with all commonly used data warehouses and transactional NoSQL and SQL databases, supporting any data schema, such as users, products or companies. Now, all business users have access to customer data in real-time, whenever and wherever they require it. Modern consumers desire personalized interactions with every brand. A recent Forrester study revealed that 68% of shoppers are unlikely to return to a store or website with an unsatisfactory customer experience. Moreover, according to a recent Gartner study, as many as 63% of digital marketers still face challenges in utilizing the potential of personalization technology. Hightouch's Personalization API tackles this pain point. It makes it simple for any business team to use the modeled data already stored in the warehouse and translate it into compelling real-time customer experiences. With Personalization API, businesses can consider a multitude of new use cases, making it even easier to provide customized customer experiences, such as: Delivering in-app or web-based personalization such as article recommendations, customized search results, or nearby store locations to increase conversions. Enabling personalized marketing campaigns by enhancing marketing touchpoints with dynamic data points like product recommendations through customer engagement platforms. Enhancing product experimentation by providing decision and experimentation systems with updated customer information, such as audience inclusion or exclusion. Tejas Manohar, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Hightouch, explained, "There's a massive shift towards the cloud data warehouse as the single source of truth across an organization." He added, "All teams need the infrastructure and tools to use this data, and we're excited to expand our platform offering with this new feature to support even more of their use cases." (Source – PR Newswire) About Hightouch Hightouch Headquartered in San Francisco (California), Hightouch is the premier Data Activation platform powered by Reverse ETL. EXA Infrastructure Deploys Infinera’s ICE6 Across New Low-latency Trans Adriatic Express

Infinera | March 21, 2023

Infinera announced today that EXA Infrastructure (EXA) has deployed Infinera’s ICE6 800G coherent optical solution on the EXA Trans Adriatic Express (TAE), a submarine cable system linking EXA’s current European footprint to Turkey via Albania and Greece. TAE is a joint venture formed between EXA and Trans Adriatic Pipeline Ag (TAP), the owner of a critical new gas pipeline connecting the Caspian Sea to southern Italy. Completed in 2020, the pipeline connects Melendugno in southern Italy through Albania and Greece to the Turkish border at Kipoi. This project creates a unique fiber optic network connecting Milan, Tirana, Athens, Sofia, and Istanbul with high-quality, high-performance, and ultra-reliable digital infrastructure. EXA selected Infinera’s ICE6-based solution to help meet the rapidly growing bandwidth demand on its state-of-the-art TAE cable link. Infinera’s ICE6 optical engines provide subsea network operators like EXA with industry-leading capacity per cable by leveraging unique features including highly granular baud rate configuration, industry-leading long-codeword probabilistic constellation shaping (LC-PCS), and Nyquist subcarriers that seamlessly integrate with existing third-party line systems. “As a dedicated operator of hyper scale digital infrastructure, EXA is continuously investing in network expansion projects to further develop the depth and breadth of our current footprint. Our mission is to provide high-quality, reliable, and scalable infrastructure between the locations our customers demand, which are typically the large datacenter clusters, cloud regions and cable landing stations,” said Ciaran Delaney, EXA Chief Operating Officer. “We selected Infinera’s ICE6 optical engine based on its optical performance in subsea and terrestrial applications. In our deployment of ICE6 elsewhere on our network, we have been impressed with lead times despite a very challenging supply chain environment, and with seamless integration into our existing network. EXA is preparing for growth in this region by deploying ICE6 to enable us to meet this demand.” “We are pleased to support EXA in deploying proven, industry-leading solutions like ICE6 to quickly and cost-effectively accelerate their service delivery to meet rising customer demands while protecting their subsea network infrastructure investment,” said Nick Walden, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Infinera. AboutInfinera Infinera is a global supplier of innovative networking solutions that enable enterprises, governments, carriers, and cloud operators to scale network bandwidth, accelerate service innovation, and automate network operations. The Infinera end-to-end packet optical portfolio delivers industry-leading economics and performance in long-haul, submarine, data center interconnect, and metro transport applications.

QTS Data Center provides residual heat to 10,000 buildings and educational institutions

QTS | January 02, 2023

In an industry first, QTS Data Centers, a leading data Center solutions provider, recently announced its commitment to supply residual heat to a large-scale district heating project in partnership. Headquartered in Netherlands, QTS in collaboration with WarmteStad, a sustainable utility company of the municipality of Groningen, will supply the heat out of its Groningen data Center as part of its sustainability initiative. WarmteStad recently unveiled an innovative heating plant that will utilize 100% residual heat from the QTS Groningen data Center. Heat pumps powered by renewable energy distribute hot water via an existing underground heating network installed in Zernike, Paddepoel, and Selwerd. By 2026, WarmteStad expects to produce sustainable and affordable heat for over 10,000 households, buildings, and knowledge institutions in Groningen's northern districts. Buildings can operate without a natural gas connection when heated with water, significantly reducing CO2 emissions and supporting Groningen's environmental goal of being completely CO2 neutral by 2035. QTS has committed to minimizing its data center carbon footprint through innovative solutions including the utilization of renewable energy, reclaimed water, and recycled materials to support both QTS and our customers' sustainability initiatives."
