KX, the creator of the world's fastest real-time analytics engine and time series database, and EnterpriseWeb, a pioneer in automation and telecom virtualization, have joined forces to provide network observability and automation solutions for performance centric systems.
KX and EnterpriseWeb offer a powerful and incredibly flexible closed-loop control mechanism that can be deployed on any system or distributed network, thus bringing together highly complementary technologies. Built around its kdb+ time series database, KX brings real-time analytics capabilities and market-leading data services for pattern recognition and the detection of anomalies. These feed Enterprise Web's intelligent orchestration platform for service management and intent-based network, which interprets the translation policies, and events and takes actions to maintain a declared state for a self-healing, self-scaling, and self-optimizing network. KX and EnterpriseWeb offer an integrated solution for service management at scale and a 'zero-touch' network.
James Corcoran, Chief Growth Officer, KX said, "We talk about KX as being an engine for time series and real-time analytics, powered by kdb+. As the results of the testbed project demonstrate, being the analytics engine in EnterpriseWeb's intelligent orchestration platform can yield significant benefits. Working alongside an all-star team of partners, we've shown that using time series-based technology like KX can dramatically improve response times and increase network efficiency. We're excited to see how our partnership with EnterpriseWeb can be applied to other use cases where the real-time monitoring and management of distributed networks, and low latency response and remediation is a critical requirement."
KX developed kdb+, independently benchmarked as the world's real-time analytics engine and fastest IT itime series datatbase. KX technology is trusted by the world's most prestigious and leading companies for mission-critical data applications because it is built for the most demanding data environments. The company’s industry-leading software analyzes and processes relational data and time series at an unmatched speed and scale, thus enabling richer actionable insights to drive decisions. The company empowers data engineers and developers to turbo-charge their most favorite analytics tools in the cloud, build high-performance data-driven applications, on-premise, or at the edge.
Infinitum | February 07, 2023
On February 06, 2023, Infinitum, one of the air core motor producers, launched, a brand new Aircore electrically commutated EC motor designed especially for data center’s cooling applications, reducing their power and energy consumption.
Customized for the data center cooling application's power, speed, and torque requirements, it enhances motor performance. In addition, it reduces energy consumption by about 10-15%, minimizing input current, reducing the wiring and protection urgencies of the electric unit, and thus saving costs on wiring, transformers, circuit breakers, and upstream electric infrastructure.
It features an integrated variable frequency drive (VFD), optimizing motor control and efficiency, with IoT connectivity to monitor critical equipment, BACnet and Modbus controllers, transforming building operations. It is about 50% smaller, lighter, more efficient, and quieter than traditional motors, using over 66% less copper than previous models with a sustainable circular lifecycle. Its modular design has reusable rotors, housing, and stators, increasing the model's life.
Senior Market Analyst at Interact Analysis, Blake Griffin, said, "Data centers are growing in size and energy intensity as the world's demand for data grows exponentially." He added, "Infinitum's smaller, lighter, high-efficiency motor systems are a key technology for reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint."

Founder and CEO of Infinitum, Ben Schuler, said, "We're excited to bring our class-leading, sustainable Aircore EC motors to the data centre world and give data centre operators the opportunity to reduce energy demand and costs." He added, "When thousands of motors are often required to power data centers, our improved motor efficiency, reduced noise levels, and smart features for visibility and building optimization add up to make a big impact for this sector."

Infinitum has made electric motors more durable, efficient, lighter, and cost-effective since 2016. Headquartered in Round Rock, Texas, it works with manufacturers and industrial OEMs to customize the technology for specific applications and market sectors worldwide. It provides broad applications across multiple industries by utilizing patent-pending Printed Circuit Board (PCB) stator technology. It produces Aircore EC, an integrated motor and drive; Aircore Mobility, for mobility applications; and Aircore Power Gen, the motor alternator, with applications like fans, pumps, mobility, and power generators. It has obtained patents from different countries worldwide for its various systems, applications, and apparatus.

Zenoss | March 20, 2023
Zenoss Inc., the leader in AI-driven full-stack monitoring, today announced it has released streaming data monitoring for Kubernetes, the most widely deployed open-source orchestration platform used to manage containerized applications. This real-time monitoring of Kubernetes streaming data is part of a broader set of initiatives focused on cloud-based monitoring, which enables visibility for ephemeral systems that cannot be effectively monitored by traditional monitoring tools.
Kubernetes was designed by Google in 2014 and donated to the Cloud Native Computing Foundation in 2015. It has become the de facto standard for running containers in production at scale, including in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. Also known as K8s, Kubernetes is supported by a community of professional programmers and coders from around the world. There have been over 2.8 million contributions to Kubernetes made by companies. Along with containers, Kubernetes has emerged as a primary technology for modern cloud-native workloads. According to the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, organizations using or evaluating Kubernetes increased from 78% in 2019 to 96% in 2022.
Zenoss initially released monitoring and analytics for Kubernetes in 2018 and has delivered continuous innovation to become a leading monitoring platform for container-based environments. Zenoss provides full-stack monitoring and AIOps for public and private clouds, as well as for all on-prem IT infrastructure. The platform provides a view of containerized applications in the context of the broader infrastructure. This provides a common view for IT Operations, DevOps, DevSecOps, and business-level users.
In addition to previously existing capabilities, Zenoss monitoring for Kubernetes now provides:
Monitoring insights for Kubernetes clusters in a single pane of glass along with the broader infrastructure for K8s deployments in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, as well as in private or hybrid clouds and locally hosted environments
Secure, cloud-based monitoring with zero install
Data collection and analytics in under five minutes
Visibility into the health and performance of nodes, services, pods, containers, namespaces and more
Intelligent dashboards with out-of-box templates
Smart View, actions and notifications
"There is a significant shortage of visibility into health and performance in these highly complex container orchestration environments," said Trent Fitz, chief product officer for Zenoss. “Just as application developers have adapted to be more efficient, scalable and automated, we are doing the same for monitoring these environments.”
Zenoss Cloud is the leading AI-driven full-stack monitoring platform that streams all machine data, uniquely enabling the emergence of context for preventing service disruptions in complex, modern IT environments, including those built on Kubernetes. Zenoss Cloud leverages the most powerful machine learning and real-time analytics to give companies the ability to scale and adapt to the changing needs of their businesses.
Zenoss works with the world's largest organizations to ensure their IT services and applications are always on. Delivering full-stack monitoring combined with AIOps, Zenoss uniquely collects all types of machine data, including metrics, dependency data, events, streaming data and logs, to build real-time IT service models that train machine learning algorithms to deliver robust AIOps analytics capabilities. This enables IT Ops and DevOps teams to optimize application performance, predict and eliminate outages, and reduce IT spend in modern hybrid IT environments. Zenoss is recognized in The Forrester Wave™: Intelligent AIOps Platforms, Q4 2022, the 2022 Gartner Market Guide for AIOps Platforms, and in the 2022 Gartner Market Guide for IT Infrastructure Monitoring Tools.
